We are honored to feature Pietro La Barbera in the Hall of Fame of the Panorama International Arts Festival 2025 — an Italian cultural polymath whose work spans literature, radio, theater, and immersive sensory experiences.

Born in Casacalenda in May 1966, Pietro has devoted his life to exploring the nuances of communication and human perception. His initiatives include academic support, diction and expressive reading workshops, creative writing sessions, as well as unique experiences such as dinners, aperitifs, theater, and cinema in the dark.

A respected literary judge, Pietro contributes to prestigious awards including the National Literary Award “Costa Edizioni” and the National Literary Award “Francesco Giampietri.” His voice reaches audiences through television, published books, and above all, his work in radio — programs like “Desideri Distonici” on Radio Orizzonte Molise and “Quasi Paradiso” and “L’altro sono Io” on Radio Thor Italia exemplify his commitment to dialogue, music, and shared listening.

Since April 2019, Pietro and his wife Florence have led the project “La Voce del Buio,” a YouTube channel designed for the blind and those with reading difficulties, offering literature and culture in uniquely accessible forms. Through his multifaceted endeavors, Pietro continues to illuminate the human experience with empathy, creativity, and insight.
